Following from no found literature (1) and a very low GRADE (2), the following evidence gaps are identified:

1. What is the diagnostic test accuracy of antibody testing in patients with suspected juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM)?
2. What is the diagnostic test accuracy of antibody testing in patients with suspected inclusion body myositis (IBM)?

Based on a low GRADE found for IIM, further research into the diagnostic value, as well as the into prognostic value of MSA should be conducted.
