4. Tranexaminezuur

What are the (un)favorable effects of the use of tranexamic acid in mamma reduction patients?

Slechts één relatief kleine RCT werd gevonden die voldeed aan de PICO. Een grote RCT in mammareductie patiënten is daarom gewenst.

De geïncludeerde studie dient tranexaminezuur topicaal toe. Een grote RCT over toediening van tranexaminezuur i.v. bij mammareductie patiënten is daarom ook gewenst.

5. Postoperatief pathologisch onderzoek

Which risk factor predicts (pre-stage) mamma carcinoma in patients undergoing postoperative pathology evaluation after mammaplasty reduction surgery?

Volgens werkgroep geen kennislacune gezien de sterke aanbeveling.

Echter, over de leeftijdsgroep 30-40 is onzekerheid.
