During the development of this module, it became apparent that there is still insufficient evidence within this module to support the recommendation, and that knowledge gaps remain. The working group believes that (further) research is desirable in order to provide clearer answers to practical questions in the future.

Are early vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty able to prevent compression fractures among patients with spinal metastases in the future?

Explanation: Whether vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty are able to prevent compression fractures in the future is important to know because it is a relative small intervention that could prevent required stabilizing surgery and neurological deficits in the future.
